| 1.
Warranty |
| |
1.1 Warranty Period
| |
AMPTRONIX products are covered
by a one-year manufacturer
warranty from the date of delivery
to the original purchaser for
both material and workmanship.
Any products that are found
to be defective within this
warranty period will, at the
option of AMPTRONIX, be replaced
or repaired. |
1.2
Repairs Under Warranty
| |
During the
warranty period, AMPTRONIX
will repair, replace or credit
all defective products, provided
that they are returned to
authorized AMPTRONIX repair
facility. AMPTRONIX has sole
unfettered discretion to
determine whether a particular
product will be either repaired
or replaced. |
1.3
Out of Warranty Repairs

We will
repair our products that
are out-of-warranty provided
such repair is economically
feasible. Products damaged
to the extent that repairs
would not bring them up
to minimum quality standards
are not economically feasible.
The out of warranty repair
has a warranty of 90 days.
It covers repaired or replaced
parts only. |
1.4
Exclusions From warranty

The product
is treated as exclusion
from warranty if:
- The product has been subject to misuse, abuse, or unauthorized repair. Such
conditions will be determined by AMPTRONIX.
- Non AMPTRONIX are covered by one year warranty. Examples of such products include
RAM, HDD, FDD, CPU and etc.
- Product is damaged beyond repair due to nature disaster, for example, lighting
strike, flood, earthquake, fire, etc. |

Return Process |
| |
In order to obtain
service on your equipment, an RMA
number must be obtained from AMPTRONIX.
The product must be correctly identified
and returned within 15 days of
the time the RMA request number
was issued. In order for the RMA
process to run smoothly, customers
must:

Fill out RMA
form online from http://www.amptronix.com/sample/support/rma-download.html.
An RMA number will be assigned
and sent to the customer. It
is the customer's responsibility
to fully identify the original
purchase information of the
product that is required on
the RMA request form. Any missing
information on the request
form may result in rejection
of the RMA request or delay. |
2.1.2

All items arriving at AMPTRONIX without a valid RMA
number are automatically refused. |
2.1.3
| |
After obtaining the RMA number, you will need to send
the package to AMPTRONIX, shipping prepaid and insured. The RMA number
must be marked on the outside of the shipping box (not the product
carton box). |
2.1.4
| |
No package will be accepted if it is shipped "COD" or "Freight
Collect". |
2.1.5 Packing Instructions:

1) |
Package the unit safely, preferably using the original
box and packing materials. Please ensure that your product is shipped
fully insured in the original packaging or equivalent. This warranty
will not apply where the product is damaged due to improper packaging. |

2) |
Include the following:
a. The RMA number supplied by Amptronix Inc. clearly marked
on the outside of the box
b. A return address where the unit can be shipped. Post office
boxes are not acceptable
c. A contact telephone number where you can be reached during
work hours
d. A brief description of the problem |

3) |
Returning a product from outside of US:
In addition to the above, you MUST include return freight funds and
are fully responsible for all documents, duties, tariffs, and deposits. |

| 3.
Return For Credit |
| |
3.1
| |
An RMA number
must be obtained before
any credit return. |
3.2
| |
3.2 Items
returned must be received
by AMPTRONIX in new condition
and in their original package
including all accessories. |
3.3
| |
Credit is
allowed only for returns
made within 30 days from
the invoice date. After
30 days a 20% restocking
fee will be applied. No
credit will be issued after
45 days from the date of
invoice. |
3.4
| |
There may
also be a charge for items
missing or damaged from
the original package. |
3.5
| |
Products
which are incomplete or show
signs of abuse or misuse
will not be accepted or credited. |
3.6
| |
If product
was purchased from an AMPTRONIX
reseller, please contact
the reseller for any credit
issue. |
3.7
| |
Any return for products with RAM, HDD, FDD, CPU and etc. will be charged 20% restocking fee once the package been opened. |

| 4.
DOA (Defect on Arrival) Return |
| |
4.1
| |
DOA (defect on arrival) product must be sent back
within 15 days of receipt along with its original contents, packaging
materials and a valid RMA number. |
4.2
| |
Products which are incomplete or show signs of
abuse or misuse will not be accepted or credited. |

| 5.
Shipping Cost |
| |
5.1
| |
The customer is responsible for all incoming
shipment costs, and we pay the outbound shipping costs back to
the customer. |
5.2
| |
All replacement/repaired products are shipped
UPS Ground or equivalent method. If a rush shipment is requested,
the cost of shipment upgrade must be paid by the customer or by using
customer’s freight account number. |
5.3
| |
Customers
will be liable for loss or damages
caused by their shipping carrier. |

| 6.
Important Notice |
| |
6.1
| |
For products from AMPTRONIX, customer can find
a bar code somewhere on it; this label is for warranty purpose.
AMPTRONIX can only provide service when this label is kept in good
condition. Remove, contaminate or destroy it will cause warranty
void. |
6.2
| |
AMPTRONIX returns each product with a simple repair
record.
For a failure report or analysis, please contact with RMA window,
an extra charge may be occurred also. |
6.3
| |
For a customer's reference, out-of-warranty
repairing charge is as follows:
Minimum $60/hour plus component cost and freight cost for systems
or boards |
6.4
| |
AMPTRONIX
promises to keep a RMA team with
most efficiency,
most RMA goods will be returned
within 15 days (exclude time
of shipment from and to the customer).
In case of over due, please contact
with us immediately. |
6.5
| |
This
