The battery desulfator enhances the function
for the service and maintenance of lead batteries
and helps to keep them in good shape.
Most of the lead batteries terminate their "lives" prematurely due to so-called sulfation.
Sulfation may be caused by overcharging batteries, undercharged & dying batteries, over using or pulling down the battery for over 80%, or by incorrect charging voltages. Once the lead sulfates form into smooth and large crystals, the charging power, charging capacity, and the battery life decrease constantly over time.
Amptronix Battery Desulfators take energy
from the battery and return it as a surge.
As a result, charging voltage, cold test
power, and capacity increase again. Thus,
it revives old batteries and preserves
new batteries against aging prematurely.
It is best to connect the Desulfator to
batteries up to 300 Ah.
The Battery Desulfator works from a voltage
larger than 12.8V (ABC-DS12) or 25.8V (ABC-DS24)
terminal voltage.
The Desulfator shuts down at voltages below
12.6V (ABC-DS12) or 25.2V (ABC-DS24).
